This morning I woke up with a moderately strong urge to start the day with a jog. I wasn’t quite inclined to get up when hubby did, I had to prod him and ask him if he was going to work, he thought it was still the weekend. When I did get up it seemed very dreary so I had a warm shower and no jog. Now it’s raining and I’m quite cold. I think I need a jumper. I just made myself a cappuccino though so that should help.

Yesterday I had my legs waxed and my eyelashes tinted. I went to Sanctuary, the place I had my hair done the last couple of times. I’d never had any of their beauty therapy stuff done before. Their service for beauty is just as awesome as hair! Leg waxing is never really pleasant, in fact it hurts, A LOT! However the girl was quite good and it went fairly quickly. Afterwards, not only did I get the standard oil moisture type thing to soothe the legs but I also got exfoliated and then some more moisture and there was warm towels involved! It was so cool! No other place has done that before, they usually leave you a little sticky let alone not exfoliated. Then when my eyelashes were tinting, I’d never gotten this done before so I don’t know what’s standard, she massaged my head! It was so pleasant. Summary is that you can get cheaper prices but you really get what you pay for, in fact in comparison to other places, you get more than what you pay for at Sanctuary. Love it!

As I was walking to the shops for my treatments a guy walked by me and said “Hi.” Now usually it wouldn’t weird me out because some people do that, especially in the event of eye contact, but this time was weird because I’ve seen him before. During COW Club I was walking to the shops (in Wahroonga, a different suburb to yesterday) to get some coffees and the same guy said hi to me and asked me whether I stayed up late to watch the soccer. I didn’t but he looked a bit trashed so assumed he did and vocalised that he must have. He had and we discussed the score and he departed down to the railway station while I went to the shops. Does this guy know me? What’s the deal? Is he one on those over-friendly types? I have a good eye for faces. I don’t necessarily remember where I know them from or what their name is but I know one face from another and that time in Wahroonga was the first time I had seen this guy. Maybe he doesn’t have that kind of memory and thinks I’m someone else.

We had 19 kids at Fully SIC on Friday night! That’s quite large, especially since 13 of them were boys and there’s only two male leaders but 5 girl leaders (4 of whom were there on Friday night). I hope those kids keep coming, and I hope we get another guy leader.

I’m jealous to hear about your legs and eyelashes (though I don’t think I’d ever get that done) the treatment with the oil and the towels and especially the head massage sound divine!
Also, this man seems weird. If you don’t know him, my first reaction would be to say he thinks you’re cute and is trying to flirt…but to ask if you watched soccer is weird, because, well, what if you hated soccer? That wouldn’t be a good pick up line…
Let us know if you ever discover his true identity.

Hehe, you’re right about the weirdness of the soccer comment but I don’t think anyone would have admitted to hating soccer at the time because the World Cup was on. It was also the first time Australia had been in it for many years.
