Bible reading printouts

6 January 2019 by kristarella Leave a Comment

In setting up my journal for the year I decided to include two bible trackers. One is all the chapters of the bible, so I can mark what I’ve read in any context (church, bible study, solo study). The other is the Bible Reading for Shirkers and Slackers plan, which is great for those that […]

Custom bible reading plan

1 March 2010 by kristarella

The goal Last year I decided to read the bible in chronological order (i.e., the approximate order that the books are set or written, not canonical order). I was doing well until I had surgery and then I wasn’t really able to read anything while in hospital. Then when I got out and recovered, my […]

God works

23 October 2008 by kristarella

I had a brief conversation on Twitter with @niphal today that really echoed in my mind during the event I attended tonight. niphal “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.” http://twurl.nl/j5depe Reactions? kristarella Reaction: they can advertise atheism if they want, but I’ve never seen a religious advert on a bus, […]

2 Timothy 2

6 October 2008 by kristarella

At bible study a few weeks ago we were finishing looking at 2 Timothy. We were having some solo time to go over the book and see what we could summarise from it. Sadly, I missed about half of the studies from 2 Timothy and only got to the end of chapter 2 when I […]

So you think you know what worship is?

3 August 2008 by kristarella

Last time I left some questions that were raised during the talks at MYC. Most of my initial responses were validated by the talks, but I learnt a lot and I think my understanding of the topic was deepened. What is Worship? Grimmo (the speaker) asked us to write down what we thought he would […]

27 July 2008 by kristarella

MYC happenings This year’s Mid Year Conference was on Worship. The whole conference was excellent. I couldn’t help learning a lot, being encouraged and really challenged. It was actually the same topic as the first MYC I went to four years ago, but there’s always more to learn.

Another fun day at the zoo! I was excited to see h Another fun day at the zoo! I was excited to see how great the Vivid displays look during day since I didn't try to see them at night. Mark wasn't quite ready for photos with the gorilla sculptures. He stared at the mummy gorilla for some time and then decided he didn't like it and started to cry 😢 a cuddle with human mummy fixed that 😂

This cheeky monkey is ten months old today! He h This cheeky monkey is ten months old today! He has 3 teeth out, and that tongue is often out feeling what is going on with those too! He is super close to crawling. He can shuffle himself around and did a couple of alternate knee motions yesterday before slipping onto his tummy again. He doesn't like lying down and sits up at every opportunity. He is rubbish at sleeping (worse than ever), but usually makes up for it with how happy he is during the day.#marksymonds
