Love me a nice piece of raisin toast in the morning. Yesterday I bought “cafe style” raisin toast, the slices are fat. It’s seriously good. You only need one slice because it’s probably equivalent to two (which my “diet” allows by the way), it still fits in the toaster (just), it doesn’t get overcooked like my usual raisin toast does (on the lowest setting), and it tastes great!
Hmm, got a pit parentheses-happy there. 😀
Love me nice freebie at the station. I’m not the kind to line up for freebies, but I’ll accept them on the way past. This morning I got a V3 juice. It was quite nice and handy because I didn’t feel like eating my orange at lunch time. Other nice feebies I’ve gotten were Granola Clusters – I know granola has that tofu air about it (you know, yucky tasting, health nutty) but as with tofu in thai food, granola in clusters was quite nice; I believe I’ve gotten V and Red Bull at some point, they’re okay; I got a snack bar of some kind, I know it when I see it in the shop, it was really yummy, it had crunchy nuts in it… that’s all I can think of now.
Love me a nice computer program. I installed NeoOffice this morning. It’s a Mac OS X port of Open Office. It’s still in beta and could be buggy but I’ve been using it for hours and haven’t had a problem. It is much more like a native OS X program.
Love me a nice, clever husband. As soon as I took my MacBook to work and back home I realised I’d have to keep changing my network location (because work has a proxy). Hubby had the same thing with uni and he wrote a program (he’s called it Marco Polo) that automatically detects where you are according to certain rules, such as which USB devices are plugged in or what IP number you are assigned. So far it’s good.
Why is it that I can’t get away with writing a post that doesn’t include computer stuff?!
