End of the week. We went to bed at a reasonable hour last night! I think it was just sheer exhaustion. I couldn’t even be bothered to cook so we got pizza 🙂 It wasn’t so much the cooking that was my problem but just the being in the kitchen. It’s so gross! The pile of dishes is enormous! I should get in there soon and do the first load (it’s going to need several goes, there won’t be enough room on the rack). It would be totally sweet to have a dishwasher!
I also really need to do some PTC (Preliminary Theology Certificate), a correspondence thing I’m doing. I’m going to have to do an exam on it soon and I’m pretty behind.
I also hope to have time to bake cookies and take some to Fully SIC tonight.
Totally cool! My iPod seems to be working now!!! I reset in on Yvonne’s computer at work (IBM not Mac) and now it works with Amarok and my computer without fault! I’m loving Amarok too. I have two folders set up to get music for, the main one where hubby and I have most of our music and one on my computer because I can’t edit the main one. Amarok can play and play and not sound dodgy like iTunes did on Windows -if I did anything else that used up RAM then the songs would jump and stall because they couldn’t be processed fast enough. It also sends up a little notice in the middle of your screen of the name and artist of the song that’s just starting but it doesn’t interrupt what you’re doing, you can keep typing if you like. It’s nice.

Oh, how I feel for you b/c you don’t have a dishwasher! I lived without one for a few years and it was the WORST. I didn’t ever cook b/c I didn’t want the dishes…and you know I love to cook. It was hell.

Hehe, thanks for your sympathy Mags! It makes me feel less bad about how often we wash the dishes :sheepish:
