My li’l bro just asked me to scan him a page in my kids cookbook. The same page he’s been stealing the book from me for years for and the same page I asked mum to bring it back for me. The chunky chocolate cookies are excellent! I’ve stuck to the recipe and I’ve made variations of them and they’ve always been good.
I hadn’t tried to scan anything since installing Kubuntu and didn’t quite know where to start. I thought I had a program to do with scanning but I couldn’t see it in the menu so I went about trying to install the printer. It didn’t seem to work very well and apparently the EPSON Stylus CX3500 can be quite a pain to install.
Eventually I found Kooka in the Graphics menu (I knew I had something somewhere!). I opened it up, it detected the connected scanner immediately and scanned the page with ease. It seemed to detect the scanner as the next model but it doesn’t matter, it worked.
