Normally I wake up well before hubby. If I have food in the house like I do at the moment I have to wake him up because I’ve cooked breakfast. Usually nothing in particular causes me to wake and then a desire to start my day causes me to get up. Today was different. I think I woke due to our noisy neighbours. They kept on opening and closing these slide doors as if there weren’t going to be any doors tomorrow. It was so annoying! Then I was inspired to get up by bagpipes. I could here bagpipes playing. When I listened harder I could hear drums drumming, it sounded like a marching band. This is totally out of the ordinary where I live in the suburbs in Australia. So I got out of bed pulled, some clothes on, brushed my hair, rinsed my face and went outside to investigate. There was a marching band, and also the firies, the amboes, girl guides, scouts and vets1. They must have been practicing for Tuesday when it’s Anzac Day. I tried to get a video of them marching but it’s no good because the sound was turned off so you can’t hear the baggies.

There’s this crazy comp. going on at the moment, check out MTMD and the comments in my previous post. For those of you searching, I’ve collected the clues and decided where I think Matt is. I don’t think I’m going to say though. I sure you guys have found the clues as well, judging from thenumber of comments I’ve gotten. Thanks for actually reading my post and then commenting! I just went through all the comments which is defeating the purpose of the game. What can I say, I was in a hurry! Don’t get too angry though, I’m going back to read your blogs right now!
1 For those who couldn’t figure out what I was talking about, firies = firefighters, amboes = ambulance officers, vets = war veterans, baggies = bagpipes.
