I decided that it would be a good idea to use FeedBurner to publish my RSS feed. It will allow me to keep track of subscriptions and it will allow you add the subscription more directly from my page – straight into your feed reader of choice. If there are other benefits, let me know because I’m new to this service. 🙂
If you’re already subscribed, I’d love for you to switch to http://feeds.feedburner.com/kristarella/blog.
Thanks!

hey kris,
there is a plugin that will automatically transfer all old feeds to feedburner. It’s called Feedsmith. That way, you don’t need to worry about all the other people not changing over — they will be redirected automatically.
here’s the link:

Hi Kris,
Nice move. I’ve been using Feedburner for some time now, and it’s great to have an idea how many people have subscribed. I also use their email subscription service. Previously I used Feedblitz, but I find Feedburner more user-friendly.
Off-topic, thanks for sticking up for me on my latest blog post. I really appreciated what you were saying, and here’s hoping my Google rank comes back sometime soon.

No worries David, I hope so too 🙂
