Some days are just good and some days aren’t even if you had every intention of making them great.
Saturday was good for me. I got to sleep in a little bit and I managed to clean the bathroom, do some dishes, two loads of laundry and a little bit of uni work all by 12:30pm. Thus earning me the right to relax for the rest of the day in preparation for this very busy week.
Yesterday my lab wasn’t on so I decided that I wouldn’t go to uni (nothing to go for) or work (could have gone to work and earn money), but that I’d stay home to start and finish my microbiology report. It just didn’t seem to go well though. My mind was just blocked and throughout the whole day I only wrote half, if not less of the report. I kept staring at the results we were given (because our own investigation was doomed from the start) and couldn’t figure out what to do with them or what to say about them. It was lucky that bible study was interesting and fun, otherwise I probably would have been quite sad when I went to bed.
Today hubby is staying home (jealous, it was difficult to get up – even at 8:10am) to do housework and to write some of his thesis. I have to go to uni, I might be able to get some writing and also some paid work done. Here’s hoping it’s a good day for both of us!

Staying home is great. I am on vacation the rest of the week!
