A couple of bits of trivia that I came across this week:
According to this website cocoa beans are from the tree Theobroma cacao. Theobroma is Greek for ‘food of the gods’. The ancient Aztecs honoured the cacao tree and used its beans as a form of currency. The tree was a source of strength and wealth, so they assigned their god Quetzalcoatl as its guardian.
So the god of chocolate is Quetzalcoatl.
When you’re making a website, it seems that line measurements don’t include the tails of letter such as p and q properly. Hubby had only 0.5em margin on the images on the Marco Polo website and at some page sizes the text ran into the images. A 1em margin fixes it. 🙂
