I just made some of my favourite cookies. I’m a bit sad because I’m going to take them to Fully SIC and they’ll be devoured by kids. I love baking for them but I love having cookies at home as well 😛
Anyway, something a bit strange happened. They didn’t fall like they normally do. The recipe says to roll them into balls and then bake them, there’s no mention of flattening and I didn’t flatten. Usually they go soft and get a bit flat in the oven but this time they just stayed balled up. They’re kind of cute actually. I wonder if I put too much cocoa in so that there was too much dry and they weren’t oily enough or something like that.
Hopefully they still taste good. I’ll try one soon just in case 😉
On a completely different topic, I tidied up my Firefox bookmarks yesterday. They were seriously out of control and now they are in categories and sub categories. It’s all very nice. I also have a duplicate bookmark detector extension installed. It went nuts yesterday because I actually tidied the bookmarks elsewhere and then deleted all mine on my computer and imported them. The extension told me I had 183 duplicates! Well, as if. I just ignored it and hoped it would go away, which it has done and now I only have two duplicates, I think I’ll leave them duplicated though because they are ones in my bookmarks toolbar. I like my neat bookmarks and my neat desktop. It’s ironic that I’m so anal about those things because my desk is a mess!

Hehe, yeah, I cooked them that way the first time, and they didn’t flatten…so I have always flattened them on the tray so they are cookies, not cookie balls 😉
