It’s not okay for you, yes you – in the white Volvo, to hang back while we are stopped, while I’m indicating to change lanes. Then as soon as the light goes green charge forward just as I’m turning into the lane. Do you think it advantages you to be one car ahead when we’ve been stopped at a red light?
It’s not okay for you, lady, to indicate at the very last second, just as the light goes green. It does cause me to be stuck behind you while the other cars go forward. If you’d given the 30m warning as required by the rules of the road I could have changed lanes.
It’s not okay for you on your little weeny motorcycle to travel between 30 and 40km/h in a 50 zone. Does your little bike only go that fast? If so you should join the kids on the sidewalk whose tricycles probably go faster.
It’s not okay for the cheese to melt right out of my favourite sandwich when I leave it unattended for a minute. I didn’t know whether I should even make the sandwich after seeing two year old photos of a much slimmer me. Now not only will I feel guilty for eating but it’s not going to taste as good.
It’s not okay that there seems to be freaky mould in my shower. It’s invisible at normal temperatures but after the hot water runs it’s red. It’s also not okay that the water doesn’t go down the drain properly even after two attacks with Drano; or that the spray top on the bleach broke after two uses so I can’t use it properly.
It is okay to see my friend and see photos of her boy and their trip to Queensland.
It is very okay for me to look through the yearbooks with her of the last two years of school.
It’s not okay that I never got the final one though, I’ll have to go back and hit them up for one.
It was also okay that our conversation about my gross shower inspired her mum to clean the bathroom.
It is okay that hubby has transferred me some money and put petrol in the car.
It is okay that I went shopping and got some more cheese and some tissues, which we’ve been without for some time. As well as pasta, hummus (to go with left over lebanese bread) and tea.
Overall s’okay.
