I’m very glad I have my own account/server/wordpress blog. The reason I left Blogger (or one of) was because it kept crashing and was going totally spaz. It seems to be down tonight because I can’t leave comments on two of my favourite blogs, both on Blogger. Don’t get me wrong, blogger is a good tool, they’ve done good things. It is because they’ve done good things that everyman and woman and their dogs have signed up for it and poor Blogger just can’t cope. Well, that’s the impression I get anyway.
So I will leave my comments here and maybe they’ll see them.
Hezza: You definitely made a good decision about work! Don’t let them run you into the ground. Don’t try to cut things close every day of the week – trust me, I know! That’s why I’m taking next semester off uni.
Mags has a tradition on Tuesdays, it’s called Toosdae ?’s and today’s goes like this:
1. Would you rather (at someone else’s house) accidentally and conspicuously break an expensive antique heirloom or accidentally and conspicuously let their prized dog out of the yard?
2. This is a “First thing that pops into your head” question-DON’T over think or change your answer –> What song reminds you of your Middle School/Junior High (7-8 grade) years, and what years were you there?
3. Do you believe in the death penalty?
My answers are:
1. I’d let loose the dog. If I did such a thing I’m sure it would be an accident and if the dog was so great it would probably come home of its own accord.
2. Crush by Jennifer Paige. 1998-9. It’s this song because everytime Mum and I went to the Heritage Markets, just as we were turning into the showground driveway this song would ome on, every time. I also had a huge crush on my Geography teacher and everyone knew it. One day when we were doing gymnastics in P.E. my P.E. teacher, Ms Clancy, told me that that song reminded her of me!
3. I have mixed feelings about it. I think that it has its merits, such as serving as adequate punishment for crimes and a deterrent for other people committing crimes, as well as relieving society the cost of housing malicious, long-term criminals (it’s expensive!). However if the execution is too horrible it make the government hypocrites, and the judicial system is not reliable enough to accurately determine guilt. There are murderers that have gone free or never been caught, and people in prison who claim to be innocent, not to mention those that have recieved pardons after their death. Oh, I just did mention that didn’t I?
Hope you get my answers to your questions Mags! Everyone else, please note, this is not a meme, you may not steal Mags’ tradition unless she gives her expressed permission. If you want to take part in Toosdae ?’s go to Mags’ blog (when Blogger is back up!).
