Until today my week was going well. I feel I should thank those that helped make it good.
Thanks to:
City Rail, for actually getting me to uni on time every day this week.
My hubby, for being nice and connecting his computer speakers to my computer, and for motivating me to tidy my desk.
Elsa, for coming over at short notice to write the bible study for youth group.
My tutors for being understanding that I was sick last week.
The coffee cart guys, for getting back the velvet (white chocolate) syrup.
The doc, who said she’ll be my doc and try to make me better.
The guy at the bus stop who makes us line up, for everytime he says “take a break guys” or “take a breather” when he thinks enough people have gotten on the bus. It always makes me smile.
As for today, thanks go to:
The uni, for making it difficult to catch up and tell everyone that you were sick, not lazy, when you weren’t there. Why does one need to put the form in three days after the event? What if I was away for more than three days?!
The doctor who wrote my medical certificate, I really appreciated how you wrote it in completely illegible handwriting and spanning Friday to Sunday even though you have a letter from the hospital saying I was there on Monday. You have the letter, which means I don’t, and I now have to go to the trouble of getting another letter to excuse myself from the exam I missed.
