Woot! WordCamp Europe (WCEU) is just a few days away; and as I write I am in the airport lounge doing some work, enjoying some dessert, and thinking about WordCamp.
I love WordCamps in general for a number of reasons. In no particular order some of those are:
- learning
- teaching
- amazing community
- swag
- inspiration
- community (it’s so good it goes in twice)
I volunteered in Vienna last year, and one of my roles was on the photo team. You can see many of those photos here:
I am not on that team this year, but hope to take lots of photos anyway! This year WCEU is in Paris and I’m volunteering again.
I am also super excited to catch up with a bunch of work mates, and WordPress community mates (even some from Australia — it was a bit hilarious farewelling people in Auckland, NZ with “see you in Paris”). Plus, Paris! I’ve never been, and am well stoked. I’m also going to visit my cousin and her husband in Switzerland on the way home.
Amazing times.
