It’s a thing with MacBook screens that sometimes they get marks from the keyboard on the screen.
I think it’s most likely to happen with the retina screens that don’t have a significant portion of case around the screen, but it can happen with the MacBook Airs too. It’s also more likely to happen if you don’t have a hard case and the bag you carry the laptop in has a lot of stuff in it.
I was getting worried about my MacBook, which I carry in my handbag fairly often and wondering how I could prevent it. It turns out there is a product called ScreenSavrz, which is what I need, but I didn’t want to wait until it shipped to me to save my screen.
Lo, I had an unused glasses cloth sitting right next to me on my desk. It’s not the size of the screen, but it doesn’t seem to matter. It alleviates the pressure at the centre of the screen and prevents oils left on the keyboard from my fingers from transferring to the screen.
Problem solved!
