I have my MacBook! It’s hot! I’ve had it since yesterday afternoon but I wasn’t excited enough to blog because I hadn’t installed my favourite programs yet. I’m using Camino for internet at the moment, hubby says it integrates better with the Mac system than Firefox so I’m taking it for a spin. I do have Firefox installed, of course. I also have Open Office, Inkscape, and the GIMP installed. I haven’t had a big play with the various included programs yet. Been too busy baking and getting ready for the wedding. It’s all good fun and not too bad prolonging the new toy experience.
Also, this “Create New Post” page looks gooood in Camino. The buttons are all round and cute.
At the moment I’ve got a 1280×800 resolution picture from pixelgirlpresents.com as my desktop background. I quite like it but it’s given me an idea for something else I want to make – all my desktops that I’ve made so far are the wrong ratio for this screen. I’ll have to make wider versions of them.
