Website Hosting
There is a slight SEO benefit for Australia-specific websites to be physically hosted in Australia, as well as the benefit of a local support team. However, support packages vary greatly between companies, and there is often a financial benefit to hosting in the US. These are some hosts that I, or others I know, have found to be helpful.

Theme Shops/Clubs
- WordPress.org Many free themes are available via WordPress.org
- StudioPress Great selection of child themes, many are responsive, large community & good support
- WooThemes Particularly good for e-commerce with the WooCommerce plugin, good support options
- Hybrid
- Elegant Themes Not as highly recommended as StudioPress & WooThemes, but good for more limited budgets and the themes often have more built-in options (too many options for some)
- Theme Forest Some themes are excellent, many are bulky and confusing with functionality that would be better suited to plugins than built into the theme, but the store is worth knowing about
