‘Tis good

20 February 2007 by kristarella

Love me a nice piece of raisin toast in the morning. Yesterday I bought “cafe style” raisin toast, the slices are fat. It’s seriously good. You only need one slice because it’s probably equivalent to two (which my “diet” allows by the way), it still fits in the toaster (just), it doesn’t get overcooked like […]

Just great

19 February 2007 by kristarella

Some thing have been good recently and some things have been just great. You can hear that sarcasm right? I thought I broke my toe at karate on Friday night. This ended up not being so bad because it’s already feeling a fair bit better maybe it wasn’t really broken. It turns out that some […]

Spanning Sync

17 February 2007 by kristarella

This is cool! Spanning Sync can syncronise all your calendars on your Mac and Google Calendar. You don’t have to subscribe to your Google Calendar, now you can have two individual calendars (one on Google and on on iCal) and syncronise them when you want. We started by deleting our subscribed calendars on iCal (because […]

Mac programs

17 February 2007 by kristarella

So, I spoke a bit about installing and trying out some programs. After doing so I’ve developed some opinions. Camino is goood. It’s rendering is excellent, better than Firefox. It’s light-weight, there are heaps of things that are fun in Firefox but you don’t necessarily want or need them that much, I’ve sacrificed them for […]

[maniacal laugh]

14 February 2007 by kristarella

I LOVE IT when things go right! Yesterday things didn’t started going well until about 7pm. I took my MacBook into work but the Kensington lock I borrowed from hubby’s uni a while ago wouldn’t lock properly. It locked when it wasn’t in the computer and the key would come out but when I tried […]

Feed Readers… again!

12 February 2007 by kristarella

So, now that I have a laptop I think I’d like to have a desktop application for reading RSS feeds. Upon a Google search and questioning my husband and reading comments about readers, I think the good (and free) options are Vienna, NetNewsWire Lite and Shrook. For anyone interested, there’s also an interesting looking OS […]

Yesterday we had a family gathering to visit for t Yesterday we had a family gathering to visit for the first time where Gran's ashes are interred, next to Grandpa's. Afterwards we had a long lunch, at which Mark was a champ. I'm so grateful to have all these people who love me and love Mark. And super thankful to have such a social and easy going baby.

Mark and I had a great time at Brickbuilt yesterda Mark and I had a great time at Brickbuilt yesterday! 10 photos cannot cover it, so I might have to post again 😆Thanks everyone involved in organising, exhibiting, and for chatting to us about your builds!#brickbuiltsydney #brickbuiltsydney2022 #lego #afol @sydlug #legomastersau
Finally got a chance to pay these pretties some at Finally got a chance to pay these pretties some attention! Stabilised wood and resin pairings from @pensbycasey_ . The photo doesn't do them justice; the red burl is gorgeous and the blue and green colourshift resin is amazing. They don't have their perfect ink matches yet, but that's okay, I'll use up what is in them and try a different combo next time.#fountainpen #fountainpens #handmadeinaustralia
Rey and BB-8 on Tatooine. This is a reuse of this Rey and BB-8 on Tatooine. This is a reuse of this habitat, but I added another sun and a little more terrain. Fitting scene, as the sun has already set on my Star Wars day. I'd love to do a more gradual sunset, but I don't quite have the yellow and orange plates right now.#maythefourthbewithyou #maythe4thbewithyou #starwars #starwarsday #lego #legostarwars #afol #legomaydare @giothebrickjedi_andfam @nicole_s_brick_build_world

One of my memories (both actual memory and photo memory) is Grandpa dressing up as Santa. I don't know if he liked sci-fi, but I'd like to think he would have enjoyed dressing up with us on occasion 🤍#maythefourthbewithyou #maythe4thbewithyou #maytheforcebewithyou #starwars #starwarsday #yoda #babyyoda #marksymonds #crochet
