Phew! It actually happened! WordCamp Sydney 2014 is on and going pretty well as far as I can tell.
I had no idea how different organising would be to attending; obviously the lead-up is extremely different, but it is also completely different on the day: making sure everything is continuing as it should, picking up food, seeing just bits and pieces of talks here and there etc.
From what I have seen and heard the speakers have been great and attendees are having a good time. So thank you so much, everyone who made day 1 happen! Sponsors, Speakers, Organisers, Volunteers (Monique, Belinda, Velinda & Zac) — we wouldn’t have survived Saturday morning, or even the day, without you! — and delegates, there’d be no conference without you all!
