Inner Sydney is just infested with Bogong moths at the moment. It’s a bit gross actually. There’re all over the halls in the buildings at uni, they’re in the buses and trains. Generally they seem to be trying to get out, but they can’t find the open doors and windows.
Some people are inclined the kill them, which is fairly nasty because no one seems to be cleaning them up. There’s just dead moths on the floors and smears on the walls.
“Thank goodness I haven’t seen any near my place” is what I keep thinking, we live about 40km north of uni. I don’t think I could cope. I’d have to bomb my unit with pesticides again! The previous bombing occurred after the weevil incident of 2006…
